Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our Web Code Protector services.
1. Account Registration and Security
Account Creation
To access certain Services, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate.
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
2. Services and License
Grant of License
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement and payment of all applicable fees, Web Code Protector grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to use the Services solely for the purpose of protecting your own original web-based source code during the term of your subscription.
Service Description
Our Services involve the processing of your source code through our proprietary algorithms to produce an obfuscated, encrypted, or otherwise protected version. You understand and acknowledge that the Services are designed to significantly harden your code against unauthorized access, analysis, copying, or reversal, and that no technical protection can be guaranteed to be completely immune to compromise.
Restrictions
You shall not itself, and shall not permit others to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code or underlying ideas or algorithms of the Web Code Protector service.
- Modify, create derivative works of, or translate the Services.
- Use the Services to protect any code that you do not own or have the legal right to protect.
- Use the Services for any illegal, fraudulent, or malicious purpose.
- Resell, sublicense, lease, or otherwise commercially exploit the Services without our express written consent.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
Your Content
You retain all of your right, title, and interest in and to the source code you submit to the Services for protection ("Customer Code"). By submitting Customer Code, you grant Web Code Protector a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, process, and transmit the Customer Code solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you.
Our Technology
Web Code Protector owns and shall retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Services, including all related intellectual property rights, such as our obfuscation/encryption algorithms, software, website, and trademarks. No rights are granted to you hereunder other than as expressly set forth in this Agreement.
4. Fees and Payment
Subscription Fees
The Services are provided on a subscription basis ("Subscription"). You agree to pay all applicable fees as described on our website at the time of purchase. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as otherwise stated in this Agreement.
Auto-Renewal
Unless you cancel your Subscription before the end of the current billing period, your Subscription will automatically renew, and you authorize us to collect the then-applicable subscription fee using any payment method we have on file for you.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to change our subscription fees at any time. We will provide you with at least 30 days' notice of any fee changes. Your continued use of the Services after the fee change comes into effect constitutes your agreement to pay the modified amount.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
"As Is" Service
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE, OR THAT THE PROTECTION APPLIED TO YOUR CODE WILL BE IMPENETRABLE.
No Liability for Circumvention
YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT NO FORM OF CODE PROTECTION CAN GUARANTEE COMPLETE IMMUNITY FROM COMPROMISE, AND THAT THE PROTECTION PROVIDED BY OUR SERVICES MAY BE CIRCUMVENTED BY SUFFICIENTLY ADVANCED METHODS. WEB CODE PROTECTOR SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, DECOMPILATION, OR THEFT OF YOUR CUSTOMER CODE.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WEB CODE PROTECTOR, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF FEES PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Web Code Protector and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:
- Your use of and access to the Services
- Your violation of any term of this Agreement
- Your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property right
- Any claim that your Customer Code caused damage to a third party
7. Term and Termination
Term
This Agreement commences on the date you first use the Services and continues until your Subscription is terminated in accordance with this section.
Termination by You
You may cancel your Subscription and terminate this Agreement at any time through your account settings, effective at the end of your current billing period.
Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach any provision of this Agreement. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease immediately.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your State/Country], without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [Your City, State/Country], and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
9. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement

Severability

Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes. By continuing to access or use our Services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
